Ritsumeikan University has rich history and tradition and has reached 146th anniversary of the founding of the Ritsumeikan private school and the 116th anniversary since its establishment.

Ritsumeikan university provide an orientation on employment for international students. Tutors of Internaitonal Students Assembly (TISA) assists not only international students in their student life and learning experience, but also organizes welcome events for new students and international exchange events. ② Waseda University

Why Waseda?
Waseda University, a top institution of higher education based in central Tokyo, has 50,000 students in 13 undergraduate and 21 postgraduate schools, so students can find others with similar interests and choose a wide variety of subjects.
Waseda has been selected to the most elite group (Type A) of research universities for the Top Global University Project by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology and the whole school is striving daily to provide world-leading education and research.
Waseda is number one in Japan for study abroad, with over 5000 international students from 100 countries. It offers 50 English-based degree programs at 7 undergraduate and 12 graduate schools, where all classes are conducted in English. Students who like Japan but are not proficient in Japanese are able to study various major subjects while learning Japanese at the same time.
Moreover, Waseda’s Center for Japanese Language has the greatest curriculum in Japan, with 450 classes in 8 levels to fit each student’s needs.

③ Kansai University of International Studies (KUIS)

(KUIS) was established in 1998 with the aim of fostering "truly international individuals" able to assume and effective role in the 21 century.
Kansai University of International Studies is a place of academic embracing humanity and intelligence with the goal of nurturing creative and active human resources who can oversee the world from the a global point of view.
Kansai university of International Studies is underpinned by its three faculties, namely the Faculty of Human Sciences, Faculty of Education, and Faculty of Health Sciences and currently 1900 enthusiastic students strive for their studies.
Around 100 international students from Asia and further afield are enrolled on campus, and they study together with our Japanese students.
With the university as its parent organization, the KUIS Japanese Language Course started in October 2014 as a course for foreign students seeking to attend a university or graduate school in Japan to master the Japanese language skills required for such studies.
We expect all foreign students admitted to the KUIS Japanese Language Course to master Japanese, and to benefit from higher education at the university to earn a degree with specialist knowledge in each educational and research area, as well as contribute to international exchange.

With the university as its parent organization, the KUIS Japanese Language Course started in October 2014 as a course for foreign students seeking to attend a university or graduate school in Japan to master the Japanese language skills required for such studies.
As of March 2015, around 100 international students from Indonesia and further Asian afield are enrolled on campus, and they aim for higher education or getting a job.

④ KANTO GAKUEN UNIVERSITY

Currently there are about 60 international students from China, Vietnam, Nepal and Indonesia studying at our university.
Whilst internationalization is expanding in various field, we, in Ota city, also promote to interact with pepople from overseas. Our international students actively engage with locals and contributed in various activities such as teaching language and cultures to the local elementary and junior high school students.

Upon student's financial circumstances, tuition waiver that exempt half of tution fee may be granted for 4 years study (665,000 yen)※registration is required at the time of application
We provides good support of students apartment, part-time job information, employment support, student support etc.
Upon the request, students may have opportunities to engage with locals, for example, teaching languages and cultures to elementary and junior high school students.
