Admission requirements
Applicants who meet all of the points in 1 and 2 below, and those who meet one of the eligibility requirements
from A to C.
1. Applicants who do not have Japanese nationality and those who have not obtained permanent residence status
2. Applicants who have a level of Japanese proficiency that is sufficient for them to take classes, as all of the classes
at this school are conducted in Japanese
(A) Applicants who have completed 16 years of formal education abroad, or who will have done so by March 31, 2016
(B) Applicants who are studying abroad from countries that do not require 16 years of formal education before graduating from university, who meet the conditions below, and who will reach 22 years of age by March 31, 2016
● This graduate school accepts applicants who after graduating from university have done extensive research as research students, researchers, and the like at universities in Japan or abroad, national inter-university research institutions, or equivalent research institutions as well as applicants who will have these qualifications by March 31, 2016, and applicants who are recognized as having the same or better academic ability as applicants who have graduated from university in Japan.
(C) This graduate school accepts international student applicants who have completed or who will have completed 15 years of formal education and who have earned excellent grades in the prescribed courses.
